  • Building Project Phase I- Liquidated $1 million sanctuary in 5 years.

  • Overseeing Construction Phase II $3 million Family Life & Education Center.

  • Appointed Delegate to the 9th Assembly of the World Council of Churches, 2006.

  • 2nd Episcopal District Representative to the General Board of the AME Church

  • First Coordinator of "Women in Ministry" for the 2nd Episcopal District.


Ministry Highlights



As a child growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, I never imaged that God would use me as he has, to serve rural and urban-area congregations, “birth” over 40 “children in ministry”, and manage a church budget of over 1.3 million dollars.  But he has.  I am a witness that He can, and will do “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think”.  Other ministry highlights include:

  • Connectional Church Experience
    • 2nd Episcopal District representative to the General Board of the A.M.E. Church
    • Plenary Session presenter “Growing Small Churches” at 17th Seminar on Church Growth and Evangelism

  • Local church Experience
    • Over 20 years of pastoral service
    • Grew rural church membership from 7 members to 150
    • Grew Mt. Calvary, my current church, from 50 members to over 1800 members

  • Ecumenical Service
    • Appointed as the only non-Episcopal level clergy delegate to the 9th Assembly of the World Council of Churches, February 2006
    • Member, Towson Ministerial Alliance

  • Community Service
    • Co-host of ABC-2’s #1 Sunday morning religious TV broadcast, Grace and Glory
    • Advisory Board Member, St. Mary’s Seminary and University, The Ecumenical Institute
